The first large tournament with EX08 shows us some new innovation with a different take on the Ancient Birds archetype. Instead of running the Phoenixmon and Phoenixmon X Antibody top-end, they instead pulled in the new MedievalGallantmon from EX08 alongside a thicker Tamer line (more Kristys) and additional consistency Options. Some tech cards like Plasma Stake and ZubaEagermon are included as well to surprize opponents. Another interesting adaptation is the greater focus on BT13 Garudamon over the more typical Garudamon Ace focus, which ties in with the extra Kristy Damons. Finally Wings of Love remains an undercover allstar.
